It will probably come as no surprise to you that DMX has been arrested … again. For the cops it was like a three for one deal. We’ll explain.
The rapper was pulled over by cops at the airport in Spartanburg, SC and nailed for driving on a suspended license, driving while uninsured, and driving an unlicensed vehicle, reports TMZ.
A rep for the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport says officers noticed DMX, a/k/a/ Earl Simmons, as soon as he pulled up to the terminal — and were apparently well versed on his track record.
DMX is familiar with the suspended license charge — he’s been slapped with that one multiple times. His most recent busts were for allegedly possessing weed (in Aug.) … and an alleged DUI (in July).
Here’s an UPDATE on DMX from his spokesperson, Domenick Nati (Nati Celebrity Services):
“DMX was released at 9:46pm Eastern Monday night. He was arrested on minor traffic charges and spent only three hours in jail. This short arrest will not affect any of his upcoming concerts and he is planning on performing with Swizz Beatz on Wednesday’s Wendy Williams Show.”
