The newest member of the WZAK family is a unique one. Cleveland Heights own born and raised Ahmaad Crump listened to WZAK all the time as a kid but never dreamed of hosting the Saturday Night Party from 8pm-12am each and every Saturday night.
Ahmaad attended Cleveland Heights High School then attended Central State University. His contagious personality became noticed with everyone on the campus and that’s where he began hosting various talent shows, greek step shows and various parties on the campus and local clubs. When he returned home he had no clue that his hometown NBA team had an opportunity he couldn’t turn down. In 2005, Crump became In-arena host for the Cleveland Cavaliers and hasn’t looked back. He has been voted by the NBA 2 times (2010, 2011) to host the NBA All Star Weekend festivities. He also is the host of SportsTime Ohio/Fox Sports “Beer Money” a show where you win cash money for knowing Ohio Sports Trivia.
January 2014, Crump jumped at the opportunity to host The Saturday Night House Party and he the same engery he brings on the court for the Cavs is the same energy he brings behind the microphone for WZAK. Ahmaad loves Cleveland to the fullest and wouldn’t have it any other way than to be a host on WZAK.
