The internet is on fire with word that two of the show’s biggest stars are dipping out! We have  learned that Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall will NOT return to BET’s highest rated show!

It was confirmed after Tia sent this tweet to fans…

“Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun.

According to a source close to the show, both actors are very busy right now. Pooch is working on new Showtime project “Ray Donovan”, while Tia is still filming her Style Network reality show and working on the launch of her new book.

Fans started reacting to the news when DeDe McGuire from the Doug Banks Show sent this tweet Tuesday evening….

Wow!!! For all those that watch “The Game” on BET Tia Mowry just told me she was informed an hour ago that she was FIRED from the show!

It will be interesting to see how the show moves forward from here because their characters, Derwin and Melanie are central to The Game’s plot. It’s a strong show that survived cancellation, but we aren’t sure if it can survive losing two of its biggest stars!

After all that we did to get the show back on the air.  Two of our favorite characters may never return.
